2024: Rewound

Happy New Year!

It’s been a while since I checked in to Aimlessly Wandering, in fact, it’s been well over a year since I last posted any videos. This had a lot of people wondering “Whatever happened to Aimlessly Wandering?” - Well, if I can be honest, what was a passion project started to feel a lot like “work”, which meant it wasn’t as “fun” as it used to be when I first started.

I also started a new career in late 2023, which allowed me to continue to pursuing my passion and talents, albeit professionally.

Aimlessly Wandering has still very much been on my mind, however, and I do hope to one-day get back to putting together some of the stories I’ve been holding on to since July of 2023. And while I may not be posting as much, rest assured, I’ve still been filming on (nearly) each and every trip I’ve been on over the last year and a bit.

There are so many stories that I have left to tell; Saint Malo, France, Liverpool, London, Iceland, and of course, our trip to the Grand Canyon (yes, we finally made it).

In that I don’t have as much free time these days, I still wanted to take a minute to share some of my highlights from 2024 as a little update to show that I am still around, and to tease just the tiniest sliver of footage I’m holding on to.

Seeing Iceland for the first time was truly something I never thought I would experience, and to be honest, had it not been for Adrienne’s life goal to go, I might not have ever made it. Having now been, I must say, it’s easily been one of my favourite places that I’ve been fortunate to travel to. In fact, we’re already dreaming about going back for another trip to experience the Icelandic summer.

Looking ahead to 2025, I am excited for another year of fun and adventure, and I hope to bring you more updates when I can.
